Ingredients

warm whole milk

cane sugar

instant yeast

melted butter

beaten egg

sea salt

all purpose flour
mozzarella cheese
½ tsp per roll
melted butter with thyme and minced garlic, to taste

Instructions
Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Whisk well, then cover and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Whisk again, then gradually add flour.
Dump the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes. Shape into a ball, place in a greased bowl, and let rise for 1 hour.
Press the dough down, divide into four pieces, and fill each with mozzarella. Roll into balls and place in a pan. Let rest for 45 minutes.
Brush with egg wash and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Brush with melted butter, garlic, and thyme, then enjoy warm.
